Learn the essentials of defensive riding on your Lime scooter with NADS. Course involves a full day of instruction. You will learn everything you need to know about how to safely ride your lime scooter or any escooter. Particular attention is given to dealing with hazards, avoiding collisions and safe braking in emergencies. These courses are conducted by experienced Instructors in a safe environment.

The Lime Defensive Riding Course is suitable for any rider above the age of 5 with a escooter licence.
The overall objective of the Course is to help develop an Avoidance Attitude (the principle of Defensive Driving), backed up with good practical skills by placing them in emergency situations in a controlled environment at safe speeds.
The day begins at 8.30am with registration and finishes at approximately 4.00pm with a presentation of certificates.
The course consists of a 50/50 mix of practical and classroom sessions and is suitable for all riders over the age of 5 regardless of experience.

Each rider has several attempts at each practical exercise and is given instant feedback on every attempt. Participants also learn by observing and analysing other riders' performances.
Following every course, individual reports covering both the condition of the scooter and tyres, along with a Skills Assessment covering both rider skills and attitude to riding, are emailed to individuals directly
